Screening

Annual wellness exams that include breast cancer screening as well cervical cancer screening.  At these exams we can discuss options for preconception or contraception needs.  We can prescribe oral contraceptives at this visit or discuss other methods including the Mirena IUD (intrauterine device), Paraguard copper IUD and Essure procedure.

We are also happy to help coordinate care for other preventative services including mammography and bone density testing, also known as a DEXA scan.

Diagnostic

We treat a full range of gynecological problems including pelvic pain, heavy or abnormal periods, yeast or bacterial infections, sexually transmitted diseases, ovarian cysts, PMS, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

Treatment

We offer in office evaluation and follow up for abnormal pap smears through a procedure known as colposcopy.  If your colposcopy reveals high grade or moderate cervical dysplasia we can treat you in office via LEEP procedure.  We also offer hysteroscopy or endometrial ablation for heavy bleeding, D&C for treatment of first trimester miscarriage, Insertion and removal of IUDs (both Mirena and Paraguard are available) and tubal occlusion (sterilization) via the Essure procedure.  We offer these in office procedures because they are more convenient and in most cases are a safer alternative to general anesthesia.
